Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in North Lanarkshire, is seeking a Marketing Officer to join their team on a contract basis until 31st January 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of the organisation's Marketing and Communications strategy, focusing on innovative ways to engage audiences and increase recruitment.
  • Develop and implement digital content strategies to expand social media reach and impact, drive online traffic to the organisation's website, and improve website usability and design.
  • Lead on website development, utilising techniques such as paid search, SEO, and PPC, and evaluating customer research, market conditions, and competitor data.
  • Take ownership of metrics relating to campaign performance, website, social media, and delegate analysis and impact from marketing-related initiatives.
  • Prepare, plan, develop, and project manage various marketing campaigns throughout the year to a variety of audiences.
  • Create and develop new innovative ways to communicate the organisation's brand, working closely with other team members to integrate marketing and communications functions throughout campaigns.
  • Responsible for leading on market research, developing and implementing marketing plans for curriculum areas, and coordinating marketing projects to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a marketing role, with excellent knowledge of social media marketing and planning.
  • Managing multichannel/Cross-Channel marketing, experience managing PPC, SEO, email marketing, and social media.
  • Able to define, track, and analyse key metrics for traditional and digital marketing strategies.
  • Relevant technical expertise, with a good understanding of and ability to work with different analytics packages and content management systems.
