Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the technical quality of outputs, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
  • Take on the role of Project Director for larger or more intricate ventures, leading teams to successful project delivery.
  • Embody a proactive stance in technical leadership, championing your area of expertise and staying updated with the latest trends.
  • Collaborate with members across the organization, enhancing work quality through interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Mentor and train team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Top academic qualifications in ecology or biological sciences.
  • Excellent survey skills, including extended Phase I, protected species surveys, and/or botanical surveys.
  • CIEEM membership with a commitment to Chartership.
  • Experience with EIA and HRA.
  • Strong report writing and reviewing capabilities.
  • A solid grasp of the legislative and planning policy framework.
  • Ability to lead projects as a Project Director, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Confidence in liaising with statutory bodies and LPAs.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a commitment to excellence.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
