Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to join our engineering team. As a CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical CAD drawings for full system installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the engineering team to design and develop electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical CAD drawings for full system installations
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the requirements for control systems, LV electrical sub-systems, and HV/EHV electrical distribution systems
  • Support engineering and project teams with general drawing requirements for mechanical design, planning, and site design
  • Produce, modify, and maintain technical documents for development, manufacture, and installation phases
  • Create concept, detail, assembly, and production designs, and assist with design calculations and analysis
  • Maintain a high standard of information detail, presentation, and document control
  • Ensure compliance against relevant engineering standards and system requirements
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of Electrical CAD experience with additional exposure to Mechanical and/or Structural CAD
  • Proficient in the use of CAD software, for instance AutoCAD and Revit
