We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager - Management Accounts to join our team at Liberty Global. As a key member of our Management Accounts team, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Perform month-end activities, including accounting processes, journal entries, and analysis to provide insights and recommendations for process improvement.
- Support and influence decision-making across the organization by working closely with internal stakeholders and providing timely and accurate financial information.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including SOX.
- Collaborate with colleagues to standardize and automate processes, ensuring efficient and effective work practices.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, or Qualified Accountant with a strong background in Management Accounts.
- Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) and a degree of post-qualification experience.
- Coaching and development of less experienced finance and accounting colleagues.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience working within large complex corporate structures, managing key stakeholder relationships, and delivering to deadlines.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion/HFM).
