Deputy Head of Regulatory Reporting

Eames Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Deputy Head of Regulatory Reporting to join our team in London. This is a high-profile role that requires a strong understanding of prudential regulatory reporting and a proven track record of managing a small to medium-sized team.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Direct line management of 7 FTE, overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Regulatory Reporting team.
- Regulatory Reporting: Oversight of all prudential regulatory returns, including COREP, liquidity, and BOE, ensuring they are submitted accurately and on time.
- Technical Challenge: Review and technically challenge the Regulatory Reporting team to ensure returns are submitted in line with relevant requirements and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Close interaction with the Regulatory Change team to consolidate, enhance, and automate existing regulatory reporting processes.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with the Regulatory Policy team to ensure timely identification and implementation of regulatory policy, as well as the Capital Management team to ensure a cohesive link between regulatory reporting and capital management.
- Reporting and Analysis: Responsible for accurate and timely production of all internal reports covering month-end regulatory metrics against regulatory requirements and risk appetite.
- Disclosure Management: Prepare and manage key capital, leverage, liquidity, and other CRD IV disclosures in Interim and Annual Financial Statements.
- Experience: Extensive prudential regulatory reporting experience from the Banking industry.
- Knowledge: Strong and detailed knowledge of Capital, Liquidity, and BOE prudential regulations.
- Leadership: Proven experience of managing a small to medium-sized team.
- Improvement: Track record in identifying areas of process improvements.
- Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Education: Strong academic background.
- Skills: Alteryx experience desirable but not essential.
