About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Bank team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing a comprehensive therapy service to residents of Barnet referred into the service.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be an active member of the clinical team, providing a therapy service to residents of Barnet referred into the service.
  • To work within professional standards and clinical guidelines, promoting best practice and undertaking all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
  • To work as part of a multidisciplinary team to facilitate positive rehab outcomes and timely, coordinated discharge planning.
  • To build and maintain key relationships with referrers to the service, facilitating appropriate referrals and an understanding of the role of the Physiotherapist and the Multi-professional team.
  • To fully support initiatives to reduce length of stay, including key working.

Requirements

  • Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Evidence of up to date CPD portfolio
  • Involvement in Appraisal Scheme
  • Attendance at specialist short courses or equivalent CPD activities within the specialist areas of Adult Rehabilitation, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Older People Rehabilitation
  • Member of Professional Body (CSP)

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience post registration as a Band 5 physiotherapist
  • Experience working at a Junior level in a wide range of specialised clinical areas including outpatients, neurology, rehabilitation, orthopedics and respiratory
  • Experience working in neuro/stroke rehab
  • Experience working in the NHS
