About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supervising Social Worker to join our team at TACT (The Adolescent & Childrens Trust). As a Senior Supervising Social Worker, you will play a key role in leading and developing our social work practice, providing expert guidance and support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop our social work practice, ensuring that it is of the highest standard and aligned with our organisational values.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to our staff, including supervision, training, and coaching.
  • Contribute to the development of our policies and procedures, ensuring that they are effective and compliant with relevant legislation.
  • Work closely with our management team to ensure that our social work practice is integrated with our overall organisational strategy.
Requirements
  • Significant experience as a Supervising Social Worker, with a proven track record of leading and developing social work practice.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate our staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with our staff, management team, and external partners.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Act 2014.

  • A competitive salary of £35,893 per annum (increasing to £39,880 after 18 months) + £750 per annum Homeworking Allowance + £1,500 per annum Out of Hours Allowance.
