About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Live-in Care Assistant. As a Live-in Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with meal preparation and cooking, as well as light housekeeping and laundry.
  • Support clients with their daily routines, including medication management and appointment scheduling.
  • Engage in activities with clients, such as reading, watching movies, or going for walks, to promote social interaction and companionship.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and support, including medication administration and any changes to client condition.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in a care setting, preferably in a live-in care environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • A caring and compassionate approach, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
