The Role: Retail Merchandiser
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Merchandiser to join our team based in the Redruth area. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our client's products are presented effectively and attractively within retail outlets across your designated district.
Your Responsibilities:
- Compliance & Standards: Adhere to merchandising standards, guidelines, store policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations. Implement planograms (where provided) to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
- Product Placement & Replenishment: Arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal. Ensure shelves are well-stocked and products are presented in an attractive manner.
- Promotional & Point of Sale Setup: Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers. Maintain a clean and organized display area.
- Communication & Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers. Provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams via our feedback application.
What We Look For:
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car that can be used for business purposes is essential due to the travel requirements of this role.
- Experience in merchandising, retail, or customer service is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building rapport with store staff and effectively conveying information.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of service.
