Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and processing orders, ensuring accurate picking and packing of items
  • Using voice control picking systems to efficiently pick and place items on pallets
  • Inspecting containers for damage and confirming correct items and quantities are selected
  • Sealing and tagging containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm
  • Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area
  • Placing picked items on pallets and using a pump truck as required

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Proficient organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Experience using voice control picking systems and proficiency in organizational skills

Working Conditions:

This is a temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate, subject to attendance, time-keeping, and performance. The job is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.
