Position Summary:
This role is essential to support the increasing demand for ECU testing services. You will work in close partnership with the Test Engineer to ensure the effective implementation and upkeep of testing apparatus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain proprietary software and testing protocols.
- Design, construct, troubleshoot, and commission testing equipment.
Performance Improvement:
- Enhance machine cycle times and operational efficiency.
- Engage in travel across various sites within the UK, with an estimated travel commitment of 30%, including occasional international trips.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a proven track record in the design of testing equipment for automotive projects, specifically in areas such as engine, transmission, or driveline.
Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of CAN networks, including CAN, LIN, and Flexray.
- Experience in writing or modifying testing software and automated testing solutions.
- Familiarity with Python programming.
