Job Opportunity

PE Global is seeking a highly skilled Engine Test Facilities Engineer to join our team in Stafford. This is a 12-month contract with a 4-day workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of engine test cells, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Lead project management activities, including purchasing, installation, and commissioning of test cell equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in test cell facilities and diesel engine components.
  • Maintain compliance with EHS regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in an automotive or electrical subject.
  • Equivalent qualifications accepted (IMechE accreditation) or higher (HNC/HND/B.Eng.).
  • Time-served facilities or technicians with experience in PLC and electrical schematic diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical requirements in a working engine test facility.
