Engine Test Facilities Specialist

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:45 – 16:30
Contract Duration: Initial 12 month assignment (expected to be ongoing)
Hourly Pay Rates: £23 PAYE - £31 Umbrella

We're looking for a Test Facilities Technical Engineer to work in a Global Engine Test Facility on an initial 12 month assignment basis (with a high possibility of extensions).
- Accountable for the delivery of calibration and maintenance tasks associated with an engine test cell.
- Support and lead project management activities, purchasing, installation, and commissioning of test cell equipment in readiness for engine test projects.
- Diagnose electrical/mechanical malfunctions in the test cell facility or diesel engine components;
Core Background Required:
- Strong understanding of the electrical and mechanical requirements of a working engine test facility.
- Awareness of low voltage electrical systems associated with diesel generators for providing electricity in prime, continuous, or standby modes.
- Proficient user of computer applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A good knowledge of 18th Edition Electrical Safety and Competency is desirable.
