Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team at Alexandria Insights, Inc. in Stafford, VA. As a key member of our Test and Evaluation team, you will be responsible for planning and conducting developmental tests, including live fire events, to support our customer's acquisition programs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and/or revise Test Evaluation Master Plans, Detailed Test Plans, and Test Reports to ensure successful test execution.
  2. Lead and conduct test preparation, coordination, and execution, ensuring systems, personnel, and resources are ready to execute tests within specified timelines.
  3. Support the design, conduct, data collection, and reporting of test events, including technical assessments and evaluations of Prime Contractor deliverables.
  4. Develop reports, briefs, and documentation related to programs in our portfolio, including Technical Review Action Plans and participation in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) process.
  5. Participate in Test & Evaluation and System Engineering IPTs, and develop and/or revise acquisition engineering documentation, such as Specifications, Interface Control Documents, and Engineering Change Proposals.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical/scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.
  2. At least 4 years' experience planning and conducting developmental tests, including live fire events or comparable operational experience.
  3. Experience in developing Test and Evaluation documentation to support programs in achieving required milestones/events.
  4. Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, writing, and analytical skills to effectively interact with various audiences.
  5. Excellent MS Office skills and experience with the DoD Architecture Framework are a plus.
  6. Active DoD SECRET clearance required.
