We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our team at Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of office fit-out projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and update workload trackers using Excel to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Participate in site scoping meetings with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
- Conduct thorough site surveys to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Oversee comprehensive site management, including leading the preconstruction phase, coordinating consultants and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Compile site safety files, CPHSPs, and RAMs, and lease with PD to ensure a safe working environment.
- Manage material requests, organize trades, and coordinate logistics using Excel and online portals.
- Conduct routine site visits to ensure project alignment and deliver concise weekly reports on program adherence, quality assurance, cost control, and health & safety standards.
- Proven experience in fit-out, ideally in the office interiors/commercial sector.
- Proficiency in managing retail construction sites with finesse.
- SMSTS/SSSTS certification (preferred).
- Advanced MS Suite skills, including Excel, Projects, and other relevant software applications.
