About the Role
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner with Activ, you will be part of a team of skilled multidisciplinary professionals offering innovative, person-centered, value-based quality services to customers. Our team operates within a hybrid model of working from home and across the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver strength-based and person-centered services to customers with disability.
- Facilitate group sessions, training, coaching, and/or mentoring to support customers in achieving their goals.
- Work autonomously and in a team environment to provide high-quality services.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve excellent customer outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing peer supervision and support to maintain and improve professional skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Registered as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with NDIS (Proficient level).
- Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously as required.
- Experience in facilitating group sessions, training, coaching, and/or mentoring, with a proven track record in delivering strength-based and person-centered services.
- A positive, contemporary attitude and a commitment to maximise quality of life for people with disability.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
