As an Assistant Buyer within the Mobile team, you'll be at the heart of our fast-paced commercial team. You'll work with market-leading brands, managing the product range at SKU level and collaborating with the Buyer, Senior Buyer, Merchandising, Online and GTM teams to drive sales and profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining supplier relationships in line with our category strategy
  • Monitoring the competition to ensure competitive pricing
  • Analyzing trading performance and recommending actions to drive business growth
  • Supporting the Buyer and Senior Buyer in negotiating product ranges, including cost pricing, additional terms, exclusivity, distribution, and stock availability
  • Pricing the product range in line with agreed category CPI targets

You'll need:

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organizational, analytical, and numerate skills with good judgment
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer insight
  • Marketing, Merchandising, Retail, or Business degree
  • Excellent Excel and Microsoft Suite skills
