Job Overview

The Maternity Risk Management Coordinator will collaborate with the Family Health Division, providing essential support in administrative functions aimed at enhancing patient safety and learning from incidents. This role involves assisting governance managers in leveraging the Ulysses incident reporting system to ensure proper documentation and management of incidents in accordance with established policies.

In addition, the coordinator will be tasked with executing administrative processes and offering recommendations for improvements to optimize resource utilization. Responsibilities include maintaining comprehensive information databases and systems to facilitate accurate governance data collection and analysis, as well as generating divisional reports utilizing various software tools. All inquiries will be addressed promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

A significant component of this position is to aid colleagues in the administration of safety incidents and the ongoing management and enhancement of the Trust Risk Management System. The coordinator will work in partnership with multidisciplinary teams within the clinical division to support effective risk management practices and maintain robust local risk registers. The role includes the responsibility of delivering critical patient safety incident and risk register reports to the divisional management team and specialty leads, fostering analytical insights to promote quality and safety enhancements. Job Responsibilities

The Maternity Risk Management Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the administration of safety incidents and the daily management of the Trust Risk Management System. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be essential to ensure effective risk management processes and the maintenance of local risk registers. The coordinator will be responsible for producing key reports related to patient safety incidents and risk registers, supporting critical analysis to drive improvements in quality and safety.
