Senior FP&A Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Group Financial Planning and Analysis team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. As a key member of the team, you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and play a critical role in supporting the leadership team with business-critical special projects, financial analysis, and planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to business-critical special projects requiring analytical support and finance leadership
  • Provide board-level analysis and commentary for the Group's month-end management accounts
  • Prepare value-adding business analysis activities in support of the leadership team
  • Support M&A activity, including due diligence and execution
  • Evaluate the future needs of the business and identify key areas of focus based on the long-term business plan
  • Support the Group financial planning and forecasting cycles as required
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified chartered (or equivalent) accountant with proven experience in financial analysis and planning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead others to a conclusion
  • Preparation of high-quality financial analysis and reports for key internal stakeholders
  • Independent thought and the use of initiative to identify and creatively solve problems
  • Ability to work and engage with non-finance personnel and manage differing interests
Desirable Experience:
  • Manufacturing environment with an overhead recovery model
  • M&A activity, including target analysis, due diligence, and deal support/execution
