About the Role:

The Hatched Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Violence Reduction Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Community Safety Unit, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering strategies to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Community Safety Partnership through the successful delivery of statutory meetings, programmes, and projects.
  • Effectively manage the Locks & Bolts Project, which aims to support vulnerable adults in the community to remain safely in their homes.
  • Manage a cross-borough priority working group (North Area Violence Reduction Group) with oversight of governance, liaising with partners from multiple organisations.
  • Work with the strategic lead to ensure Domestic Homicide Reviews are commissioned, facilitated, and reported back to the relevant authorities in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that relevant Community Safety information is available on the Council's Webpages.

Requirements:

  • Strong partnership-building skills and experience of working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Home Office legislation and guidance, including DHR training.
