Role Overview: The Director of Property Asset Management will spearhead engagement with both internal and external stakeholders, particularly our partners in the renewable sector. This role is pivotal in developing, structuring, and executing renewable energy initiatives that support our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of renewable projects, focusing on commercial structuring and successful delivery.
  • Originate energy projects, assess investments, and conduct commercial structuring through market expertise and established networks.
  • Ensure accurate business investment modeling and thorough evaluation of renewable assets based on market insights.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of financial models and analytical tools.
  • Prepare bids and negotiate procurement for new renewable assets, including wind and solar projects.
  • Manage the commercial structuring of projects to achieve desired returns and balance risk/reward profiles.
  • Coordinate with internal functions such as Legal, Tax, Treasury, and external advisors to ensure project success.
  • Identify and mitigate regulatory, market, and operational risks associated with energy project investments.
  • Lead the investment and acquisition phases of projects, preparing comprehensive investment papers for board review.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in managing renewable energy projects and transactions.
  • Strong commercial acumen and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation development.
  • Experience in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, or related fields.
  • A degree in Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical mindset with a long-term vision.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory guidelines.
