Role Overview

The primary responsibility of the Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant is to engage with various stakeholders within a client organization, comprehend their business objectives, and collaborate with the customer and account team to identify, qualify, and propose solutions that align with opportunities where Vodafone's capabilities can aid the client in achieving these objectives.

Working with global clients focused on the UK market as part of Vodafone UK's Pre-Sales team, the Solutions Consultant will typically manage opportunities valued up to £100M TCV. The significance and scale of these opportunities empower our consultants to influence and transform the operational landscape.

Our Pre-Sales Solutions Consultants cater to both private and public sector clients, necessitating an understanding of the procurement frameworks and processes relevant to both. The consultant is accountable, in conjunction with the account team, for generating demand by proactively identifying or creating new opportunities to sell Vodafone solutions, as well as responding to requests for innovative technology or technology-driven solutions from clients. This is a client-facing role.

Candidate Profile

We seek an individual to support one of our significant key accounts as they navigate their extensive transformation journey. A strong background in LAN & Wi-Fi, particularly with Meraki/Cisco, is essential, but we also require someone who is adaptable and eager to learn new technologies. The ideal candidate will possess:


• Experience in developing business cases and realizing business case benefits

• Basic understanding of business functions (Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Strategy, etc.)

• Familiarity with the requirements capture process and expected outcomes

• Knowledge of the pre-contract/sales cycle

Technical & Professional Skills/Qualifications:

• Essential - Proficiency in Teams, Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint/presentation skills

• Essential - Significant experience with key technologies such as WAN/LAN/UC/IOT/Cloud & Security

• Desirable – Familiarity with the ITIL framework.
