Position Overview: The Social Work Administration Team provides essential administrative assistance to frontline Social Work units within the Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership. We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent Administrative Support Specialist to join our Adult Care team.

Role Location: This position is office-based and requires strong organizational, IT, and administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking minutes and providing support during meetings
  • Managing office reception duties
  • Overseeing team email inquiries
  • Processing invoices and purchase orders
  • Updating electronic records for service users

Candidate Requirements:

  • A solid educational background
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in office administration
  • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
  • Completion of an internal system check to access Social Work databases, with a potential PVG check for roles involving regular contact with adults in the community.
