Credit Risk Analyst (Maternity Cover)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover. The successful candidate will support our lending objectives by providing insightful analytics and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of credit risk models and scorecards to inform operational decisions.
  • Undertake meaningful analysis of mortgage data from internal and external sources to inform lending activities.
  • Present analysis and models to credit and risk committees for approval.
  • Support the production of information for the Board, Risk Committee, and external parties on credit risk exposures.
  • Monitor scorecards and models to ensure they are performing within tolerances.
  • Carry out ad-hoc credit risk analysis and report writing as directed.
  • Support the evolution of our data mart by identifying requirements and participating in the development and testing process.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of the credit risk lifecycle, ideally relating to mortgages.
  • High level of attention to detail enabling the production of analyses with a consistently high degree of accuracy.
