Safety Systems Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Comprehend the intended operations of systems within a comprehensive automotive framework.
• Produce essential Functional Safety documentation for the initiative in accordance with ISO26262, including Fault-tree analysis, Hazard analysis, and the formulation of technical safety concepts and requirements.
• Facilitate Functional Safety evaluations as necessary, both internally with the project team and externally with clients.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Relevant engineering background, preferably in Systems or Safety Engineering.
• Proven experience in supporting Functional Safety initiatives aligned with ISO26262.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driving license for operation in the UK.
Desirable:
• Prior experience in producing Functional Safety documentation as stipulated by ISO26262.
• Background in the development of one or more of the following: automotive powertrain control systems, high-voltage electrical power supplies, hybrid vehicles, ADAS features, or related technical domains.
• Experience in conducting or leading FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, and HARA activities.
• Project Management experience.
WHAT WE PROVIDE:

Salary Information: In compliance with UKVI regulations, we are required to disclose the annual gross salary (full-time) for this role. The salary range is between £33,000 - £45,000, and we will provide remuneration that aligns with market standards, taking into account qualifications and professional experience.
