Receiving and Stores Manager

We are currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Operations Supervisor for our Cadley Hill facility. This role reports directly to the Purchasing Manager and is essential for overseeing the management and operations of the Goods Inwards/Stores department.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all incoming deliveries of purchased goods, ensuring thorough checks for quantity, documentation, and condition.
- Accurately input all purchase order receipts in a timely manner.
- Monitor and manage consumable inventory, collaborating with purchasing and specific suppliers. Maintain and oversee Kanban inventory systems.
- Ensure that the storage of purchased goods and associated documentation is organized and traceable.
- Provide timely support to Manufacturing by preparing stock requisitions and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Maintain the security and safety of the bonded stores during operational hours.
- Prepare stock requisitions promptly, ideally within one hour of receipt.
- Ensure data entry of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and stock requisitions is completed within three hours of receipt, with all data finalized before stock audits or month-end processes.
Candidate Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Forklift truck certification is preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Excellent communication and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with manual handling procedures in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Adaptable regarding working hours and responsibilities.
- A strong team player who leads by example.
