About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our team to deliver high-quality community learning programs and services. As a Community Development Worker, you will be responsible for coordinating community learning provision, assisting with the coordination of events, and providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate community learning provision in line with funding requirements
  • Assist with the coordination of events, such as Awards Evenings and Community events
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
  • Produce high-quality reports and data to support the College's mission
  • Work collaboratively with the Community Learning Team to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Experience in a customer-focused and community development role, preferably in a Further Education environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills and experience with a wide variety of IT packages, including Microsoft and Google
  • Proactive approach and good customer service skills
  • Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths or willingness to work towards
