Job Summary

SS&C Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist to join our Reconciliation, Financial Reporting and Cash Management operation team for Wealth Management Clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of administrators, directly managing a manager to agreed service levels with a customer-focused approach.
  • Customer Solutions: Provide proactive and innovative solutions to customers.
  • Project Management: Lead medium to large projects or work on complex or high-profile issues that require a broad perspective, conceptual thinking, and in-depth analysis to identify solutions.
  • Operational Services: Responsible for delivery of operational services to SS&C clients in line with Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Escalation Point: Secondary point of escalation for client and internal teams.
  • Process Leadership: May also lead a process or function with direct reports.
  • Workload Management: Management of workload and work queues, prioritizing tasks to meet both external and internal deadlines, turnaround times and service standards while maintaining an appropriate quality standard.
  • Expertise: Demonstrates a depth and breadth of expertise within a discipline, and has a deep understanding of the business, financials, products/services, or market.
  • Policy Development: Develops policies and procedures, and recommends best practices. Advises and provides direction to more junior professionals.
  • Organizational Skills: Well-organized and methodical individual with experience of working to strict deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal reasoning and numeric skills. Presents an appropriately professional image; communicates clearly, concisely, and diplomatically.
  • Problem Solving: Problem-solving and decision-making skills over different levels of problems.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Technical Skills: Specific knowledge, skills, and qualifications needed to achieve required performance standards in a role.
  • Essential: Knowledge of client money and CMAR reporting, knowledge of FCA regulatory environment, good keyboard skills to include MS Office packages & systems used within the business, good verbal reasoning and numeric skills, 5 years business experience demonstrating an understanding of responsibilities within the Financial Services Industry. Desirable: within TPA background.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Hubwise/Bluedoor/Recon/AWD/Autorek, CASS 6 & 7 & CMAR regulatory requirements.
