Job Overview

SS&C Technologies Holdings is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Director of Wealth Reconciliations. This position will be responsible for overseeing the reconciliation processes in alignment with the Client Asset Sourcebook (CASS) regulations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the CASS regulations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive improvements in reconciliation processes.

About the Role

The Director of Wealth Reconciliations will be a key member of the CASS Office leadership team, responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in the reconciliation of client assets. This role involves leading a team of reconciliation professionals, developing and implementing strategies to maintain adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies, and regularly reviewing and updating reconciliation procedures and controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all reconciliation activities comply with CASS regulations and industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Regularly review and update reconciliation procedures and controls to ensure they meet current regulatory standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of reconciliation specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Provide training and support to team members on CASS requirements, reconciliation processes, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy in reconciliation activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including compliance, finance, and operations, to ensure effective communication and resolution of reconciliation issues.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in relation to CASS and reconciliations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and reviews.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to CASS 6 & 7 reconciliation, ensuring that any discrepancies are promptly investigated and resolved.
  • Develop and maintain risk management frameworks related to reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on reconciliation status, compliance, and performance metrics to senior management and clients.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of reconciliation activities, procedures, and compliance efforts.

Requirements
