The RoleWe are currently seeking a highly skilled MEP Project Manager to join our team in Leicestershire. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing our Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) team, subcontractors, and design consultants. Your primary focus will be on delivering a new build super prison project, ensuring compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead the Lendlease M&E team or major trade package on site.
- Report to the Project Lead on functional matters and produce design reviews, method, and time-related information for tenders, management of construction, completion, and post-construction obligations.
- Review design to ensure delivery is in compliance with the Employer's Requirements.
- Assist the commercial team with value engineering opportunities, variations, and disputes.
- Coordinate with client representatives, design consultants, and subcontractors.
- Monitor and manage the design within the framework of a design and construct contract.
- Review design, procurement, construction, and commissioning programs.
- Chair M&E design, construction, and completion meetings as necessary.
