About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Operations Specialist to join our Education Team at Digital Theatre. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient publication of all English and Theatre resources to our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on several content discoverability projects, each focusing on new and intuitive ways to surface content in our library
  • Publish high-quality content informed by customer needs using our bespoke Content Management System
  • Support the Director of Content and Content Operations Manager in reaching targets and deadlines, and assist with streamlining the publishing process
  • Source, contract, brief, and manage freelance editors and designers
  • Copyedit, proofread, and format educational materials
  • Write engaging copy using our in-house style and prepare metadata and materials ready for publication
  • Work with our Technology and Product departments to optimize the presentation of content on the platform and enhance user journeys
  • Work on licensed publishing projects, developing relationships with external partners
  • Represent the publishing team within the wider business, ensuring each department has the knowledge they need to succeed
Requirements
  • Proven digital publishing experience, ideally within EdTech
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Experience using a Content Management System
  • Experience gathering market research
  • Although not essential, experience in enhancing user journeys through a website or ensuring that content is discoverable is desirable
  • A proactive, can-do attitude, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
