We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Services Team Leader to join our team at WBR Group. As a key member of our central administration team, you will be responsible for leading a hybrid team of administrators, ensuring high levels of customer service are provided within given SLAs. You will work closely with the Head of Group Support Services and Department Heads to provide solutions to business requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Direct, manage, and support the Leicester administration team to deliver high-quality performance, in line with business and departmental aims.
- Team Development: Lead, motivate, and empower team members to promote a culture of excellent customer service, setting an example to the team.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with peers to manage workloads, maintain a flexible approach, and achieve positive outcomes for the business.
- Training and Development: Provide assistance to the Manager to oversee the training and development of individuals to deliver high-quality performance.
- Problem-Solving: Seek support and guidance from the Head of Group Support Services to manage absence, disciplinary matters, conflict resolution, and team issues promptly and effectively.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular team meetings, direct reports 1-2-1s, and reviews in a professional and effective manner.
- Compliance: Ensure that own and team members' working practices comply with compliance and legislative requirements.
- Change Management: Manage change while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all customers and third parties.
- Procedures and Policies: Adhere to Company/Departmental and product-specific procedures and policies, working by example in line with Company values.
- Reporting: Ensure monthly/weekly/daily MI requirements are delivered within set timescales and respond to ad hoc requests within deadlines.
- Project Management: Contribute to projects when requested and deliver within set timescales.
- Risk Management: Identify areas of key importance and/or risk and report such matters to the Head of Group Risk.
- Client Relationships: Maintain and improve client relationships, effectively handling client enquiries, both complex and simple.
- Team Management: Ability to manage and oversee a team's workload.
- Technical Expertise: Technical expertise in all areas of administration.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Organisation: Strong organisational skills.
- Microsoft Applications: Sound knowledge of all Microsoft Applications.
- Numeracy and Literacy: Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Quality and Quantity: Set high standards for quality and quantity and work in a systematic, methodical, and orderly way.
