About the Role

Battery Dynamics Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for the coordination and communication of the delivery status for live purchase orders and scheduling of incoming goods based on existing or predicted customer demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing requirements, update internal databases with order details, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with partners across Europe to deliver a competitive range of energy storage solutions, maintain regular contact with key suppliers, and resolve any problems that may impact customer requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain updated records of invoices and purchase orders, ensure the prompt return of any stock that is deemed unfit for use, and identify areas for improvement to drive performance and business results.
  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies to minimize costs, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall supply chain function.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Regularly review working practices and processes, identify and implement improvement initiatives throughout the Supply Chain function, and maintain open communication with the Operations team, including Scheduling and Customer Service.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel (Vlookup, filtering, formatting, data management), understanding of budget control and budget management.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, attention to detail, negotiation skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Education and Experience: Relevant degree and experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of £35,000 - £42,000 per year, plus bonus, and a permanent, full-time role with opportunities for growth and development.
