Job Description

**Business Development & Marketing Coordinator Role**

May & Stephens, a leading finance broker with a global presence, is seeking a highly skilled Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to join their team.

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong understanding of marketing principles and business development strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the UK and international offices in a wide range of marketing tasks, including project management, marketing analysis, and project work.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver project plans for core business applications, ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution.
  • Assist senior members of the Projects and Marketing team in delivering projects on time and budget.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day ticket management of issues on core business applications.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Sales & Trading desk and key software partners who provide technical support on various platforms.

**Marketing Projects:**

  • Collaborate with the front-desk to create marketing campaigns for customer platforms, reports, and trading services, driving awareness and adoption.
  • Coordinate online and in-person events from start to finish, including invitation creation, distribution, external promotion, venue sourcing, catering, on-the-day event organization, and post-event follow-up.
  • Work with the Sales teams in delivering educational content through stand-alone events and key industry gatherings.
  • **Branding & Collateral:**
  • Partner with design teams to develop and evolve branding, logos, and templates in line with new initiatives and general business requirements.
  • Ensure all marketing collateral is kept up-to-date and relevant for products and services.

**Requirements:**

  • The ideal candidate will be a graduate or of graduate calibre, with 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience of delivering projects on time and on budget with positive outcomes.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent inter-personal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative ability to generate thoughtful marketing content for product campaigns and collateral.
  • A tenacious, positive outlook underpinned by a can-do attitude.
  • A desire to learn and build relationships across a global business.
