As a Relief Extra Care Support Worker, you will provide emotional and practical support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with personal care needs, household tasks, medication, diet, and nutrition
- Encourage residents to engage in social activities and promote healthy living
- Develop and maintain warm relationships with service users
- Perform general administrative duties and housing management tasks
This is a flexible Relief Extra Care Support Worker position, allowing you to pick up shifts at a time that suits you. Our shift pattern includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
Due to the range and abilities of our residents, you will need a minimum of twelve months prior experience of supporting older adults with dementia.
Our Carlisle service is easily accessible by public transport, and as a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, allowing you to pick up shifts in any area of the country.
You will be paid weekly, and we offer a supportive and inclusive work environment.
