Social Worker for Children with Disabilities

Randstad Care is seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Carlisle, UK. As a Social Worker for Children with Disabilities, you will play a vital role in supporting children with varying needs and disabilities, ensuring their well-being and development.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of children with disabilities, conducting assessments and creating care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Collaborate with families, multi-agency teams, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support and advocacy for children and young people.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide safeguarding support to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Develop and implement care plans that focus on the well-being, safety, and development of each child.
- Attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings, including safeguarding reviews, care plan reviews, and court proceedings when required.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory guidelines and professional standards.
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Extensive experience working with children with disabilities or in a similar social work role.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures, and care planning processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children, families, and professionals.
