Job Role:

A dynamic and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer is required to join our client's team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or electrical bias and be able to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a combination of planned and reactive maintenance to ensure maximum line efficiency.
  • Carry out fault-finding and diagnosis on a range of PLC controlled equipment.
  • Attend to breakdowns onsite and respond rapidly to plant equipment and machinery breakdowns.
  • Deliver on plant uptime and maintenance KPI's through planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
  • Ensure the efficient running of a continuous process, moving and packing high-quality products.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in an engineering discipline in electrical or mechanical maintenance engineering.
  • Ideal experience with automated materials handling and packaging machines.
  • Production line experience, with qualified engineers offered training and development.
  • A proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement, and personal development.
