Early Intervention Specialist

About the Role:
The Early Intervention Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the Income Collection function at Riverside Group. This involves maximising and sustaining rental income and other debts, including former tenant arrears and rechargeable repairs, by carrying out early intervention and prevention activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing advice to customers on claiming Universal Credit and processing UC claims in the DWP portal.
- Encouraging rent in advance and setting up digital payment methods.
- Managing Income collection administration, including the preparation of court packs.
- Preventing arrears from escalating by supporting campaigns and managing proactive contact with customers who go into arrears.
- Managing payment arrangements to ensure timely payment of debts.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of debt recovery and income collection processes. You will be able to communicate effectively with customers and provide advice on claiming Universal Credit. You will also have excellent administrative skills and be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
