Solicitor/Senior Solicitor (Education Law) - School Exclusions Clinic

Coram is seeking a qualified Solicitor with experience in education law to join our team on a pro-bono project, The School Exclusions Clinic. The project involves managing and supervising the provision of legal advice, assistance, and representation provided by corporate volunteers. The successful candidate will also manage their own case work relating to special educational needs and disabilities and discrimination law.

  • Deliver high-quality advice and client care.
  • Be passionate about children's human rights and supporting Coram's aims.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with experience of education law casework and/or related public law practice.
  • Commitment to children's human rights and supporting Coram's aims.

Location:

Coram Campus, Bloomsbury, London

Salary:

£31,000 to £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience, PQE, and for pro-bono projects, the funding available.

Contract:

2-year fixed term contract

Hours:

Full-time (however, part-time with a minimum of 3 days a week will be considered and pay prorated accordingly)
