About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by performing a variety of tasks including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting and sanitising surfaces.
  • Operate a variety of cleaning equipment and machinery, including manual handling activities.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning operation.

About You

We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly, with good written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to work on your own initiative, organising your own time, and be reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail.
