The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing production staff to ensure efficient workload completion, maintaining high standards of safety, output, quality, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely unload containers using a Counterbalance forklift truck.
• Work in accordance with company health and safety policies, procedures, and legislation to prepare packaging for food products, ensuring correct container, label, and coding.
• Conduct regular cleaning schedules in the production and packaging area, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and sanitation, and adhering to the factory's clean-as-you-go policy.
• Palletize, wrap, and label finished goods as required.
• Complete relevant process and food safety documentation.
• Pack, metal detect, inspect products, and ensure established standards of weight control (25kg) are met.
• Ensure food safety, legality, and quality requirements are consistently met.
Requirements:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the food production chain (minimum 1 year).
• Proficiency in completing food safety paperwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 43 hours per week, with an early finish on Fridays.
In return, Market 36 Recruitment Ltd offers a competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
