Cloud Security Analyst Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Cloud Security Analyst to join our team at Sky. As a Cloud Security Analyst, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the design and implementation of security controls for our cloud environments.
  • Work with senior members of the team to develop and implement security solutions that align with industry best practices.
  • Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and vulnerabilities, and develop and implement incident response and disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA, and conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support the assessment of the security of third-party cloud service providers and evaluate vendor security practices and contracts.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Cloud Security in a multi-cloud hybrid environment at Enterprise scale.
  • Understanding of Cyber Security and its application to Cloud Computing.
  • Knowledge of an 'infrastructure as code' driven 'automate first' philosophy.
  • A demonstrable background in supporting the design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions for infrastructure and services across one or more of AWS, Azure, and GCP in a hybrid cloud environment.
  • Understanding of the design and implementation of Identity, Authentication, and Authorization systems across multiple cloud providers in a hybrid cloud environment.
  • Experience with operating security solutions for distributed and cloud-native applications, encompassing multiple layers of the OSI model.
  • Ability to work toward achieving a common vision for Cloud Security at Sky and in establishing and maintaining relations with stakeholders across multiple departments within an Enterprise environment.
  • Understanding of security frameworks, such as NIST and ISO27001.
