Job Description

As a Fabric Engineer Apprentice at Multi Instruments Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our textile manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibilities will include adhering to health and safety regulations, following planned maintenance programs, and fault-finding and repairing equipment to a satisfactory standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
  • Follow and adhere to planned maintenance programs
  • Fault find and repair equipment to a satisfactory standard
  • Undertake machine adjustments within your capabilities
  • Use company equipment in a safe manner
  • Provide training to other engineers and production employees within your expertise
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues at all times
  • Keep the Engineering Manager informed of any problems encountered
  • Assist in relevant projects and machine modification as required
  • Undertake training offered by the company
  • Ensure effective shift handover and logging of work according to workshop requirements

Requirements:

  • Completed a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Qualified to HNC or HND
  • Computer literate or prepared to train to a satisfactory level

Working Hours:

4 days, 4 off, 4 nights – 12 hour shifts
