Job Title: Test Development Engineer

QinetiQ is seeking a skilled Test Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining test strategies and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate product performance and functionality.
  • Design and develop automated test equipment (ATE) and test fixtures to support product testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve product quality issues.
  • Provide technical support and training to production teams on test procedures and equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure our testing processes remain current and effective.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in test development and automation, with a strong understanding of electronics and electromagnetism.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronics schematic drawings and component data sheets.
  • Experience with NI LabVIEW and other relevant software tools.
