Position: Special Needs Support Assistant

Daily Rate: Minimum of £85 per day

Overview:

Role Responsibilities:
As a Special Needs Support Assistant, your primary focus will be to deliver tailored assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Development Delay, and Down Syndrome.

You will also play a crucial role in managing classroom dynamics, implementing targeted interventions, and executing individualized programs designed to meet the unique needs of each child.

Ideal Candidate:
This position is particularly beneficial for those aspiring to pursue careers in psychology, counseling, therapy, or secondary education.

Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Providing dedicated support to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 with SEN and behavioral challenges.
2. Utilizing creativity and imagination to engage and inspire students.
3. Collaborating with a strong inclusion team to ensure effective support for both students and staff.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to fostering an inspiring learning environment for all students.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
- A creative, confident, and compassionate approach to supporting students with Special Educational Needs.

Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for this role through Prospero Teaching, candidates must:
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
