Role Overview

The Laboratory Technician plays a critical role in the quality assurance process, ensuring that all raw materials, intermediates, and finished products undergo rigorous testing. This position is vital for maintaining the integrity of our externally manufactured products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine physical and chemical analyses under moderate supervision, accurately documenting and reviewing results.
  • Manage daily tasks efficiently to meet established deadlines.
  • Utilize validated methods and approved laboratory techniques while performing necessary calculations.
  • Maintain comprehensive and legible laboratory records.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Consistently apply Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  • Oversee an effective calibration program within the laboratory environment.
  • Collaborate with laboratory supervisors to address any issues encountered during testing.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all analytical procedures required for testing third-party products.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or medical device setting.
  • Solid understanding of GXP compliance standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and QSR part 820.
  • In-depth knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a diverse, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Background

  • A scientific degree with relevant experience in GLP.
