Job Title: Laboratory Technician

ConvaTec is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our medical products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine physical/chemical tests, record, and review results.
  • Organize daily workload and ensure it is completed in a timely manner.
  • Follow validated methods, use approved laboratory techniques, and perform routine calculations.
  • Maintain and complete legible laboratory notebooks.
  • Maintain awareness of health and safety, and emergency procedures.
  • Apply Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) at all times.
  • Maintain an effective calibration program within the laboratory.
  • Involve laboratory supervisor if problems arise during testing.
  • Be capable of performing all analytical procedures used for testing third-party products.
Requirements:
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in a pharmaceutical, medical devices environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GXP compliance requirements such as ISO 9001 / ISO 13485, QSR part 820.
  • In-depth knowledge of GLP.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate in a cross-function, multinational environment building co-operative working relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multi-cultural and diverse suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability.
  • Proactive and flexible in adapting to changing environment and able to manage and prioritize work and competing objectives.
  • Have strong analytical skills.
  • Have strong written and oral communication skills.
Qualifications/Education:
  • Scientific background with experience of GLP.

Languages:
  • Speaking: Yes, English.
  • Writing/Reading: Yes, English.
