The Role: Residential Support Worker for Children
- Provide compassionate and individualized care to children residing in our facilities.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration (where applicable).
- Create a positive and structured environment that promotes emotional well-being and social development.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure the safety and security of all residents.
- Document observations and progress accurately, contributing to comprehensive care plans.
Qualifications and Skills
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being.
- Experience in a residential care setting or similar environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with children, families, and colleagues.
- A strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.
