Job Description: We are seeking a caring and dedicated Childrens Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting or out in the community. You will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of each child in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people.
• Assist with daily routines, including meals and activities.
• Support children in their educational, social, and recreational activities.
• Implement individual care plans and work towards set goals for each child.
• Promote a positive, nurturing environment that encourages growth and development.
• Liaise with families, schools, and other professionals involved in the child's care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies.
Requirements:
• A passion for working with vulnerable children and young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
