Dedicated Children and Families Support Worker

Coventry City Council's Children's Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Children and Families Worker to deliver exceptional support to children and their families within our Horizon and Help and Protection Central area teams.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and families. You will be responsible for triaging referrals, gathering information, and conducting initial threshold assessments to determine the appropriate level of support required by each child and family.
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic, multi-agency environment where you can contribute to providing high-quality advice and guidance.

- A comprehensive understanding of child and adolescent development.
- Experience in providing intervention services to children and young people.
- Experience in working with parents and carers to provide support and guidance.
- Knowledge of domestic violence and abuse, parenting interventions, assessments, and direct work with children and young people.
- Awareness of relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines related to child safeguarding.
